Guy Fraser graduated in Biochemistry from University College London and joined Rank Hovis MacDougall as management trainee
where he learned production and later capital project management. He then joined the Baker Perkins group selling and project managing capital process equipment installations in
West Africa, the Middle East and later China and the Far East including an expatriate assignment in Hong Kong. With the then unified APV Baker group
he continued his work with dairy plant in the Far East and then went on to manage the marketing department for the Eastern European division handling exhibitions, publicity and market analysis.
He was then promoted to European Sales Manager for the refigeration compressor division where he dealt with Western Europe, mainly France and Germany. From there he was then head hunted by Applied Power Inc.
where he delivered a major turnround for their industrial division, trebling sales in two years. He then progressed to board level at Hale Hamilton and was then head-hunted by Smiths Industries
where he won them a 'Queen's Award for Industry'.Guy then went into IT and ERP where he managed major international projects and ran two multilingual technical support centres before setting up European Marketing & Technical.
